Wavre, 6th October 2026
Exquando, a leading Walloon SME in information governance and management, announces the handover to a new management, which becomes majority shareholder. From October 2026, Leila Rebbouh, an entrepreneur and expert in data and artificial intelligence, takes on the role of CEO alongside Sabine Boël, the company’s current COO. This major step reflects a commitment to continuity, independence and renewed ambition.
Handing on a mission, preserving the DNA
Marc Ansoult, the former CEO, co-founded Exquando and has led the company for 17 years. He remains a shareholder and will continue to support the company through this new chapter as an adviser and board member.
Catherine Regniers, the current CFO, who has managed human resources and finances since the company’s earliest days, is also passing on the operational baton. Her rigorous work and disciplined management leave the company with particularly sound financial foundations.
“After 17 years at the helm of Exquando, the time has come for Catherine and me to step back and give the company fresh momentum. A mission isn’t sold, it’s handed on. I am confident that Leila and Sabine, together with the current team, will grow the company with respect for our clients, our people and our core values,” says Marc Ansoult.
A renewed ambition driven by AI and sector expertise
Leila Rebbouh, the incoming CEO, brings more than 15 years of experience in data and artificial intelligence. Alongside Sabine Boël, who has driven Exquando’s operational excellence for several years, she aims to accelerate business development while integrating the opportunities offered by AI into the core of information sectors’ operations.
“Exquando has built remarkable expertise in information governance and a strong relationship of trust with its clients. Our ambition is to build on this DNA to open a new chapter: turning information into a genuine strategic asset for organisations and reinventing the way it is used in the age of artificial intelligence,” says Leila Rebbouh.
“I have known Exquando from the inside for 14 years now. Becoming a shareholder alongside Leila is a wonderful opportunity: we share the same drive to grow the company without ever losing what makes it strong, the quality of our teams and the trust of our clients,” adds Sabine Boël, COO.
A solid foundation for future growth and innovation
Exquando remains an independent SME with a strong family culture and deep regional roots. The company stays true to what defines its identity: a strong emphasis on its people, where the success of employees underpins the success of the company, and a systemic approach to information, the infoSystem, which remains its hallmark.
The new management’s ability to innovate around artificial intelligence and continue growing the business opens new opportunities for the benefit of our clients, prospects, partners and employees.
