Senior Service Manager
As part of the international expansion of a leading pharmaceutical company, we are recruiting a Senior Leader to head a Shared Service centre dedicated to the governance of data and documents related to technical infrastructures.
At the crossroads of engineering, IT, and operations, you will be responsible for the integrity of critical data and documents related to the construction of new plants and the maintenance of production assets. Your mission: to transform technical data into a lever for operational performance.
Main responsibilities
- Leadership and operational excellence
– You manage and structure a multidisciplinary team of 20 people (Document Controllers, Business Analysts, EDM Administrators, CAD Controllers).
– You are responsible for managing relationships with various stakeholders (project teams, design offices and architects, maintenance teams, quality department).
– You oversee activities on Belgian and European sites, and manage the expansion of the service to the United States.
- Strategy and consultancy
– You define and apply data management and technical documentation standards for projects (Capex) and maintenance (Opex), including GMP and non-GMP aspects.
– You act as an advisory partner to the Engineering and Maintenance departments to identify areas for operational efficiency and guide the transformation of working methods related to technical information.
– You ensure the optimal use of a diverse technology stack (Veeva, OpenText, SAP PM, Bricsys, Autodesk Cloud Construction, Vault, SharePoint).
- P&L management and growth
You act as an entrepreneur to develop the ROI potential of Shared Services aiming for significant growth in service volume by the end of 2026.
Qualifications and experience required
- You have a proven track record (min. 5-7 years) in consulting or managing outsourced service centers. You have worked in complex industrial environments (Pharma, Biotech, Energy) where you have demonstrated your ability to transform business problems into structured and profitable solutions.
- You have advanced mastery of the technical information lifecycle, from the design/construction phase (Capex) until the operational transfer to maintenance (Opex). You have a strategic vision of technical data supported by a practical knowledge of the ISO 9001 and ISO 55000 normative frameworks.
- You can demonstrate the ability to unite technical teams in changing and high-pressure environments.
- You are comfortable with EDM/EAM/CAD tools.
- You are perfectly bilingual in French and English with the ability to convince stakeholders at high and international level.
