“Basically, lean is centered around creating more value with less work.”

Reduce waste, increase efficiency

Lean  is a production practice that considers the expenditure of resources for any goal other than the creation of value for the end customer to be wasteful, and thus a target for elimination. Basically, lean is centered around creating more value with less work.

The Lean philosophy is not only a set of methods but relies mainly on human factors. It suggests that people work with a mind oriented on diminishing waste and losses. To be efficient, the Lean philosophy needs to be primarily understood and adopted by staff at every level of the organization.

At Exquando, we use Lean tools such as 5S, SIPOC and Kaizen to increase efficiency and optimize the flow and quality of information.
